Butter Face Backbend
At This Much is True
Come on out to Mrs. Murphy's in Chicago on August 14th at 7:30. I'll be one of six tellers and will be debuting my new personal story "Butter Face Backbend." This story is about circus arts and how they can heal us.
There is no cover for this event. Come as you are, buy some food and drink, and enjoy the company of one of the most supportive audiences in Chicago.
Untold Stories of the Sea Far
at Yippie Fest
Yippie Fest returns to the Chopin Theatre (Chicago) again this year! This time, with more stories, puppets, and musicians than you can shout "Yippie!" at.
At 4:30 on August 17th, I'll be sharing BRAND NEW pseudo-folktales set on the high seas. Tickets are $20 for a day pass or $30 for a full festival pass. Tickets here.

The Story is in the Cards
At Rhinoceros Festival
The entire month of September, I'll be performing in the Rhinoceros Festival. Every Monday, I'll tell MOST of a folktale. Here's the catch, the audience will get to draw cards and decide where the story really goes. Will the princess save the lost golden plunger? Will the chicken learn to tap dance? Who knows? Not I. Tickets Available soon.
Various Things
Fox Valley Folk Festival
As a member of the Fox Valley Storytelling Guild, I'll be assisting with and telling at the upcoming Fox Valley Folk Festival. Come out to see our featured tellers: Susan Stone, Jasmin Cardenas, and Jennifer Munro. I'll be telling at the children's tent and the storytelling tent as well as MCing the ghost stories Sunday night.
Tickets available soon.
